Albufeira is about 45 km, Portimão about 65 km and Lagos about 90 km, fast via the A22, a bit slower via the free N125. Eastwards lie Tavira (approx. 40 km) and the Spanish border (approx. 55 km). Since 2025 the A22 (Via do Infante) is toll-free; older guidebooks still mention tolls.
